Your End of Term Checklist: 4 Quick-And-Easy Things to Do On Happity Before The Summer Break

It’s the end of another term! Whether you’re gearing up for a well-deserved break or keeping things going over the summer, we hope you’re looking forward to some downtime.

Before you head off into your wonderful summer, there are just a few quick things to tick off on Happity. These steps only take 5-10 minutes and will help make sure we’re still connecting you with new customers. Even while you’re taking that well-earned rest.

1) Add Your Timetable For Next Term

Parents do browse over the summer – many use the break to plan ahead for September. So don’t wait until the new term starts to list your classes!

Adding your full timetable now means you’ll show up in more searches over the holidays. Even if a class is full, list it anyway, it helps parents find your profile and see everything you offer.

Bonus tip: make sure you’ve selected up to two categories that best describe each class (for example, ‘Post-natal yoga & pilates’ and ‘baby yoga’). It helps you appear on our most popular pages.

2) Make Sure You Have Dates Listed

Adding specific dates is optional on Happity, but we always recommend it. It helps parents see exactly when your class is running, with a ‘Next On’ label and a clear calendar view.

It also means your class can appear in our What’s On newsletter (if you’re a Member), which goes out to 120,000+ parents each week. And if you’re taking bookings, dates are essential. We need them to process your bookings.

3) Verify Your Classes Every 4 Weeks Through The Summer

Verifying your classes is a quick way to show parents your info is up to date. The ‘last verified’ date shows on your class pages, and the more recent it is, the more parents can feel assured that the class is definitely running!

Make verifying your classes part of your regular routine. You can verify everything in one click from your Weekly Timetable, or tick classes off one by one if you prefer.

It only takes a moment, and helps keep Happity accurate and useful for everyone.

4) Running During The Holidays? Make Sure Parents Can Find You

If you’re still running classes over the summer break, don’t forget to update your settings. In your Dashboard, select ‘All Year / Other’ in the class set-up tool, then add the specific dates you’ll be running during the holidays.

This way, your classes will show up when parents use our ‘runs during the holidays’ filter, making it easier for them to find you.

That’s it! Just a few quick steps that’ll keep your classes visible and help bring in new families, whether you’re taking a break or keeping things rolling through the summer.

Enjoy your summer, you’ve earned it!
